The mission of First Baptist Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblicaly permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
Rev. Nik Derow, Senior Pastor
As the primary teaching pastor, Pastor Nik has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He has served at First Baptist Church for almost 20 years. He and his wife Bonnie, serve with dedication to honor God and bring the good news to all who come to hear it.
Chantelle Hinz our Christian Education Coordinator. Chantelle has a strong passion to lead our children and youth to an understanding and desire to serve Christ. She organizes all kinds of activities for the children, which includes our famous Sunday School Pic Nic, always a fun time.!!

We are located southeast of Leduc, Alberta following Highway 2A 6 km. south of Leduc to the Glen Park Road ( Township Road 490) and turning east on the Glen Park Road for 5 km. You can’t miss this quaint little country church on the right side of the road, the corner of Range Road 243.
